Three weeks ago someone smashed in my back window and stole my Chrome Messenger Bag – again. Yes, I know. All my cold weather gear, all my bike gear/tools/lights, my camera, passport, medications, work laptop… and my shitty car got just a leeetle bit shittier. Irritated, yes.
So aside from replacing everything being expensive, buying a new bag is a hassle because I wear my bag goofy-shoulder. By that I mean, I wear it over my right shoulder, where most wear it over their left. Soooo generally speaking, I have to order a bag online if I want one.
The night before the annual .83 Fucking Hills Race I still didn’t have a messenger bag. I went to bike shops all over town, finally called my friend Meg who put me in touch with Cory from Dank Bags who cranked this out in record time. http://dankbags.net/single.php

And cheap! $175 for custom colors – that’s at least $50 cheaper than a Chrome Bag which isn’t as big, isn’t as well built, and won’t give you custom colors.
Totally awesome – and huge. Wraps around you like a glove.
Inside the waterproof outer pockets there are a couple inner pockets that are super handy.
Inside the AMPLE main compartment there’s yet another zippered pocket, inside of which are two more internal pockets the same size as the external pockets.
